Doctor Ania Danielle Carlson,MD a Medical Director and Founder of the ADC Pain Institute of South Florida is well known in the community. 

        Dr.Carlson had spent an eight years of the post gradute training. At first at MSU (Internship), then three years of an Anesthesiology residency program at University of Miami, followed with fellowships at Univesity of Connecticut , Yale and finally a Fellowship in NYU.

     The two years before that, Dr. Carlson, experienced a very valuble two years as an Extern in Psychiatry, working with a professor of psychiatry at University of Miami School of Medicine, Edmund Cava,MD. 

         After completion of an Internship at MSU, Ania Danielle Carlson, MD joined for three years an Anesthesiology Program at University of Miami -The largest and the most challenging anesthesiology program in the Country.She served as anesthesiologist at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Cedars H., VA, Sylvester C.Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Ryder Trauma Center, Miami Children's Hospital and Mt. Sinai MC in Miami Beach... to mention just a few. 

         Dr.Carlson's Mentors in Pain Management were: Anesthesiology Professor at University of Miami JMH and Chief of the Pain Relief Center Vicente Pallares,MD and a Chief of Anesthesiology at Sylvester Comprehenssive Cancer Center and Associate Professor at University of Miami, Director of Pain Medicine at Sylvester CCC, Dr.Dennis Patin,MD.                                                               

       The  fellowship at NYU - North Shore Universty Hospital at Manhasset Dr Carlson obtained an credentials in Imaging, especially in a Molecular Imaging, Positron Emmission Tomography so called  PET, or PET /CT' imaging, Nuclear Cardiology, MRI's,Gamma Cammeras imaging and utilization of the Radioucleides in Therapy of numrous type of cancers.  

         Pain Management became Dr.Carlson's favoret specialty, because of her "passion" to help people in pain. She found her "calling" - to improve the quality of patients life.

         A.D.Carlson's very first main therapeutic goal is patients satisfactory pain control. Soon as that is established,other goals are identified and consecutively persuited, including patients personal goals, if patints chose to work on with us.    

        Dr. Carlson, also is very proud of her cotribution towards the ASA American Society of Anesthesiologist accomplishmend, such as, the fact that the PAIN became officially accepted as the 5th Vital Sign. Now, every patient (in the in-patient or out-patient facility must have taken Vital Signs: such as  BP( blood Pressure), HR (puls), RR(respiratory rate), T= (temperature) and a Pain Score(from 0-10).

     Has greaduated the Everest University Cum Laude and almost immediatelly  after, Joined our Staff at ADC

     Most of the patients knows her and everybody is congratuating her becoming future Mom for her second son so soon.....

    She takes a role of an Office  Manager on top of beeing a Patients Care Specialist for the last three years. 

Shannon - recently, gave a birth to a baby boy !!! Congratulations !!!

Now she has a two sons, big accomplishment - we all chaer her motherhood and can'not wait to see her back ....

You have probably met a Carol Bucknor . The Friendly face with trusting and warm eyes. She is managing our office now, while Shannon is on Maternal leave.

Carol, is the next- after Shannon ,longest employee of ADC corp. She is very skillful and heard working member of our team. She also supervises any new member of our working family to become productive and independent as soon as they can.

Carol will take care of medical records you are missing or Dr.C wannts to have in the chart. She'll help you with this issue anytime you ask her for help...But remember she do not have to do all for you she is very bussy and this maybe only a favor she'll do for you when you ask her nicely...

ADC, also,  informs all patients about our New member of out Team: Jonana White

Jonana has a three children ...and is 29 y/o....Huge accomplishment  hmm?...

She work heard, learning fast how to substitute Carol- in case she need time off and concentrates on her skills as a patient care specialist because that is what her main activity and title will be - She is good, really good in venopuncture.

You shall, definetely, see Jonana soon as you walk in to the office  because, usually she is the one who takes your appointment beeing confirmed, sccheduled, re-scheduled ,if necessary, she will take your vital signs, comfort you and also draw blood ,if necessary..

Melissa Reily is with us also, however recently you may miss her face. She is still amember of our team but works only sporadically due to our "crazy" hours....hmmm...

You may see her soon again when you visit us.

She has wonderfull 9 y/o son who is very smart and energetic. You can imagine the enrgy he has - look at his mother . She always multitasking 5-6 issues same time and talk and take test etc...she emazes all of us(ADC STAFF) how she do it?

Maybe lately she had some "storm" in her life , but she survived and is with us too.
